Now, nikon manage to screw it up that my 99% of chance to get it. What exact the reason have this over $1500 D600?
This is a bad sign, a very bad sign for my loved NIKON.
I will remove of my 'like' of your post
Thank you for all your comments and like, I appreciate.
At least we still have our love: leica R.
Congrats to your anniversary from my side too. Please let me add the Leicaflex SL to "our love". I have two of those beasts, now this is pure photography ;-)

I just picked up a 50 Cron R for my D600. Hopefully it works out better than the 50 Cron M I used shortly on a NEX7. Looking forward to converting and posting in this thread

Shouldnt be an issue, since NEX-7 has 2.3x higher pixel density than D600.
Otherwise A7/r will be most likely fine with any SLR or dSLR lens. Issue is only RF lenses and mostly just wide-angles with certain design (for example Leica M wide-angle "zoom" works).

I thinking similar now, but waiting more from a7 and about a7, worry about colours. Im sure that all R lenses would be fine on a7 regarding corners
Thanks Worldinlens, I will take your advice and wait.
I must missed this discussion. Is there any issue for a7's colour rendering?

Its not an "issue" per say. Just its not better than D800/E. Which is quite different to what Sony did in the past..
Is it because a7 has the aa filter on so IQ not as good as D800E?
PS. when you say not better than, is it not worse than either? I'm asking because it isn't really bother me if it just slight different. Now the anticipated shipping date if mid December, I hope I can get something to use before xms.

it's not worse either. it's pretty much the same. he was hoping it would be much better than the d800e i believe.

Got it.
I just preordered an a7.
Now, what is the best R-E mount I should look for?
Zhangyue,
I'm going to mount all R lens on this camera. I don't mind the length of the mount when hand held. If I remember correctly you commented that it will be wield to have a 80/1.4 with this body.
I do am worried a little bit about it when it's on the tripods. Maybe I should go for 7r for the metal front. What's your opinion?
While everyone is debating the a7[r] vs the Df (the a7 is $1k cheaper and totally novel while the Df is a 2 year old camera with no replaceable focusing screens for MF and no video in a 20 year old body)...
