A bit unusual for a church interior, so many end up looking cold and grey.
Gotta love the 28/2.8, it's a nice lens.

You might want to enter that in a contest, I think it's interesting enough that it could do well.

Anon Moss, I like your pictures with the AA 90 Summicron. Detail is really astonishing, as it is with the 100mm Apo-Macro Elmarit, which I own. Also very cropable.The Flamingo is spectacular.
I'm still travelling through India until Feb 1, 2011 and will upload my pictures after that.
In the hot and humid climate of West-Bengal and Kolkata, my 50mm Summicron unfortunately developed fungus, a fate that hopefully will be spared to my 28mm Elmarit and the 100mm Apo-Macro. That would really be a catastrophe!
For the moment I have nothing else to show here except for a few pictures I took in Istanbul in 2007, then with a Leica R8, Kodachrome and the Elmarits 19mm & 90mm. These are scans from slides.

1) A daredevil glazier repairing a window high-up outside a house next to the Galata Tower without any safety. He was at least 15m above ground.
I like the reflection of the tower's stone construction in the windows of the house
5)Since I was in Istanbul during the 'kurban bayram', when zillions of goat, sheep and cows get slaughtered to give the meet to poor needy people, here a picture of three men cutting up a cow they slaughtered right in front of the building they live in.
