Ryan, so this the reason you sold your M gear? .. dont' blame you though.. the 24 1.4 is a very nice glass judging from the pics here. You would have to pay 3x more for the Leica equivalent
This and an upcoming Zeiss 35 f/1.4 ...what I had in Leica I could buy both and still have money left over
@ Phillip: so, the flash, manual, on the wall behind the couple, blocked by them, and ambient for the couple themselves? Or did you have a front light too?

Very nice effect.
Zero ambient in that cold. dark cellar. It was from my on-board flash bouncing up and spilling forward just enough.
Nice shots Phillip! I like the first one the best but the other abandoned building shots are good too.
Hopefully, I will get some time to post some tonight.
Ryan, look forward to seeing your shots too.
Just ordered my Nikon-EOS G adapter from 16-9 so hopefully I will have that soon so I can shoot the lens at apertures other than wide open, even though it is addicting to shoot this lens wide open.
Alright....here is just a few that I got off today. Of course, all wide open Wide open I notice that it overexposes by about 2 stops....you guys have the same issue? Plenty sharp, thats for sure!
few more notes, focus is EXTREMELY slow, when you guys say slow you are giving it a compliment . Focus is extremely accurate for me. Never misfocused once.

Nice images all. It seems to me, that this lens produces a lot of "3d" images, or is it just me
Not so sure about the 3D look....but then again I come from shooting mostly Zeiss and coming from this forum that truly does show 3D IMO. We had a recent discussion on this topic in another thread here....don't know if I can stand getting into another discussion about that. We will leave this to 24 f/1.4 love
