This thread makes me want to buy more lottery tickets. Even if I had the funds for a 24G, they would be syphoned into furniture or a new lawnmower or something else much less entertaining. Count yourselves blessed, these are incredible images.

Yeah, I am poorer after buying the 24G and the Zeiss 21 a little while ago but the images those lenses render enrich my life every day I shoot with them!
Both are incredible lenses for different purposes/types of shooting.
BTW, from looking at the MTF's the 24G looks to be quite a bit sharper in the center than the 35G but the 35G performs more evenly across the frame.
JT, I don't know how anyone could get rid of this lens once they bought and shot with this lens.
Hope to post some more pics very soon, haven't had much time lately to process and post some shots.
Jorge I love all those images, and even go against the BW grain here and say in this instance I actually prefer the color version with those incredible rich colors.
However, excuse my ignorance... what IS your baby? I just can't get my head around it... some type of steel / pedal / guitar / ?? Am I gonna be embarassed when you tell me for not getting it?
Regardless, phenominal images.
Wayne... you have a Zeiss 21 AND a Nikkor 24? Wow. I gotta ask... isn't that loading up heavily on one very similar focal length? 2 legends for sure. Just curious when you say 2 different uses.... how do you differentiate them? (ps you are one very lucky fella)

Nothing to forgive DJ. It's totally cool!
My baby is a 1928 Steinway Model AIII Heirloom piano restored by Steinway in NY which my real kids think I love more than I do them For those into pianos, It's the sweetest sounding A I have ever heard. I would put it up against a model B any day
With every new picture I see delivered by this terrific lens, it consolidates the dominant position in my bag. It is very interesting that before I aquired it I was not very interested in the wide area of photography but now I found myself more and more on 24...
I look forward with great impatience the 35G... and I believe that it would have a similar impact on me, since 35 was always a proper focal for me. If 35 will produce stunning images like 24 I may consider to sell all my pro 2.8 zooms.
