I think some put too much emphasis on the brand instead of the photographer's skill. The only problem I have is that it is still called "Canon Field Reviews".
I'd agree, I could not care less what equipment was used, I'm more interested n the results and skill - it's simply interesting news - food for thought - nothing more.

Why not take him at his word and that he did not think the Mark IV was that impressive... And he liked the file quality of the D3.
Because some intrepid web sleuths had uncovered the fact that Mr.Jorgen had already registered the www.nikonfieldreviews.com web domain as early as December 2009. It's obvious Jorgen was just orchestrating some kind of excuse to switch brands long before he even got to test the 1D Mark IV against the Nikon D3s.
It's clear that Nikon simply poached him from Canon. They bribed him with free gear, and got him to switch brands. And now all the people who visited canonfieldreviews.com will be re-directed to nikonfieldreviews.com. Brilliant PR move by Nikon. That's not the first time Nikon has done this.
The most damning evidence is Mr.Jorgen's intent to eventually remove all traces of his glowing Canon reviews from his website. A neutral party wouldn't even think about doing that. But that's exactly what a sponsored "reviewer" would be obligated to do.
That's the game afterall, when someone is in the light, it is competition for brands and to them to keep them. I love my canon gear, but if Nikon call me to give me entire nikon replacement gear and ask me just to use it, sorry but I will just say 'ok, here's my adress' ! That's normal. And nothing to do with his credibility, it was a Canon ambassador, now is Nikon one, nothing changed, just the logo.
I read his specious whine (perhaps that's too generous) about how in 3 days of hands on usage he couldn't form an opinion on the 1d4, but in 1-2 hours of using a D3s he was dumping Canon. Wow, I wish I could decide major things that quickly.
I'm book marking this guys just a notch or two below my link to the Britney Spears fan club.
BTW - I head that Barny Burgerbits moved to Nikon too. I think I'll announce this on DPR so everyone can bemoan Barny's demise as a Canon shooter.

James, you sound like an embittered Avril Lavigne fan. Or perhaps Shania Twain's groupie ?
(I wonder who is picking first names for all those vocalist giants of today ?)
Actually I'm in to hip-hop and rap now because I'm "cutting edge".
I've just changed my wardrobe to wear my pants down around my ankles, sloppy hoodies, and extremely ugly baseball caps turned sideways for effect (the real fugly ones that fit like bowl on my head are best).
My clients tell me it gives me an air of panache,
PS - Have you SEEN Shania Twain? Groupie heck, I'd sign up to be her slave for a while.
Come on guys, hands up who wouldn't do the same if offered the same deal? As nearly all of us have said at some point, it's the photographer that matters most, so if any manufacturer, even Samsung, offered me all the free gear I could ever need to endorse their products, I'd do it!
He was until a few days ago a "Canon Ambassador" i.e one of ~12 photographers chosen by Canon to show off their stuff. The "ambassadors" are essentially the best photographers that Canon could get and that were interested in such a cooperation.
So it is a big deal, especially for Canon. Not because he wrote some nice gear reviews on the interweb but because they considered him to be one of the top Canon photographers.
