Here are some more pictures of the Lofoten (again all 50 MP). All pictures posted in this thread were taken within the same 24 hours. I think this is a pretty good output for one day.
Those are amazing shots, Boris| The Zeiss really shines, but no one can fault your compositional skills, those were beautifully made, congratulations!

Lovely images - in particular the very first one you posted which really gives an impression of the amazing scale of these mountains compared to houses. We were there some years ago in the summer and it is the most amazing place - as is most of the north west of Norway - well the bits we saw! It looks even more impressive in the snow and glad to know it's not so hard to get there - we took the same ferry as you, having driven up from the south - only problem is it takes so long to drive anywhere with those speed limits!
#1 really shows the spectacular setting well. #3 has wonderful color and reflection. And the clarity of the very last one is great. I think these are the strongest of the set and they are all quite good.
Boris, what an incredible series of photographs you have created! Thank you so much for sharing them with us; you are very talented, and your photos really make me feel like I am standing right there in the scene. I'm sending a link to this thread to a friend who is from Norway, and I suspect these photos will warm her heart!
Otherworldy environment, fine execution by you, and the T* coatings at work. I read the other day Zeiss were the first to develop multi-coating. My binoculars, Zeiss Victory 10x25 BT*, have them also - same look.
Show your work to the local tourist authorities...
Great stuff. I have to admit to being a bit jealous of your lifestyle! You get to photograph so many great places. Keep up the good work and I can see the world a little until my savings allow me to travel once more.
