Pretty much new in box Canon 1d Mark IV for sale. Taken out of the box to make sure everything is functional and placed right back- accessories all accounted for as well. These are out of stock at most major store everywhere- all I'm looking is to net the MSRP of $5000- from what I can see on ebay and other places, some of these have been selling at a rather nice markup above MSRP- not interested in doing that. If this hasn't sold by later tonight, I will post up a couple of pics. Please PM with any questions. I know many of you have been looking for one, and they're out of stock everywhere- here's your chance.
I would ideally ship this USPS Priority Mail Registered with full value declared- but this is a more expensive option for the buyer. If you're comfortable with it- Fedex Ground/Home Delivery with full declared value and also direct signature would work as well.

Sheen, I may be mistaken but I believe that the USPS will only insure up to $2K. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong about that.
Good luck with your sale. No doubt it will make somebody VERY happy.

Thanks Dave! Actually I just checked the USPS website- you can purchase up to $5,000 of straight up insurance, and for registered mail, which is the more secure service designed for valuables, it's $25,000.
Thanks for that info Sheen, I have actually avoided shipping USPS in the past (on some items) as I mistakingly thought that I would not be able to insure them.
Seems a shame to part with such a coveted body, but I do understand that sometimes there are higher priorities. I doubt that it will last very long on the board.

Well, it certainly seems like an amazing body. My ol' Mk III was already great feature wise- Canon seems to have improved even little areas where it could have gotten by without- for one the new battery chamber cover is different and NICE... it seems to be made of rubber so it will likely seal much better than the old one made of plastic. Also- remember the round plastic WFT cover that would always unscrew itself and fall off? Canon replaced it with a robust rubber dust seal that fits tight. Great attention to detail here by Canon.
