I have decided to finally get rid of my monster Gitzo tripod. I have dramatically reduced the price for a quick Sale.....
The tripod was used originally for an 8x10 view camera but is actually easy to travel with and is very sturdy!!!
This beast is a Gitzo performance Gilux with a Bogen Manfrotto 3047 3-way head w/ QR plate.
This tripod when collapsed sits 25", when legs are extended stands 89" and with the double neck and 3047 head extends to 96" - making it great for shooting large groups, over the heads of others and just looking cool
The legs are made of aircraft aluminum and only weigh approx. 7lbs -combined with the 3047 is apporox. 11lbs.
These legs can support really big gun lenses: 400mm f2.8, 500mm f4, 600mm f4 -800mm, etc.....
