I have three and am about to sell two. Actually one of the two for sale is a Yashica DSB 24/2.8 the other one is ML though - it's the one I shot with above. I wonder what the differences between the DSB and the ML are? Anyone know?

"ML" stands for "multi layer" and refers to lens coatings. These coatings were introduced later and are considerably better than the initial ones, i.e. single coated, marked as "DSB". Due to these differences ML lenses are commonly regarded as much better, especially in terms of contrast and flare resistance than DSB lenses.
You can find some interesting information on Yashica lenses in this FAQ: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/rec-photo/yashica-slr-faq/
My dad passed along an old Yashinon DS-M 50mm f/1.7 (m42). It's a thrill to take pictures of my kids with the same lens that my dad used to take pictures of me at that age.
And it happens to be a very decent performer on the 5D. Small, and very well built.
So maybe one more Yashica ML 55/1.2 photo? I think I have already posted this picture, but since it was some time ago, and there was not Yashica lens thread at the time, I am posting it again
