All four (4) of them available now. All you have to do is run the installer and then when you go to create a new Book, you can then select the company's templates that you want to work with from the Book Type drop-down menu.

You're not the only one with that problem Ryan, keeps killing my machine by chewing through all the swap it can muster. Let's hope they fix it soon.
I rebuilt the library (hold option + command on launch) and paused the task that's causing it to hang as soon as I could. I have a fairly responsive Aperture now and am re-generating the thumbnails because someone on the apple discussion board said it helped them. We'll see.
It'll import XMP sidecar files now so if you export your Lighroom library with those you should get the majority of the adjustments. The only thing you'll lose out on is any ones with masks.

it doesnt bring any adjustment over. just meta data. you will lose all adjustments
A follow-up on this one: a couple people from Apple have been in contact with me and I'm sending a copy of my Library for debugging purposes on their end. Hopefully there will be some results!
I have been using Aperture 3 since it's release and it's been wonderful. It hasn't been without its crashing. But the speed increases and new features make up for the 20 seconds missed restarting the app.
I have a library of 60,000 images and it took quite a long time to upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 (almost a day and a half) and there were no hiccups.
3.0.1 update has been great and there has been no crashing.
I have been using A3 now for a couple of days (after reading through a lot of the discussions here and on the Apple discussion board).
So far, (but after quite limited use) it works pretty well for me. No crashes yet and the memory leak didn't occur, or at least didn't cause my machine to hang.
I didn't upgrade my existing library, I chose to import it (that way A3 creates a new library and leaves the old one untouched. That way the upgrade worked fine for me, no crashes and the system was responsive during the import. I had turned faces off before I started.
I have to add that I am running A3 in 32bit mode - mostly because I also have the Nik plugins which only work in 32bit.
Although I am glad that I didn't have any of the issues that some of you encountered, I can't say that I have noticed any speed increase. Overall responsiveness seems to be the same for me, with maybe even some slightly slower performance (especially noticable using the loupe tool). Time will tell tough, as I said I haven't had the time yet to work a lot with it.
