Legendary, cult status lense. This is and still is one of the best macro lense available. Barrel is in excellent condition (some minor paint wear). Glass is perfect as well except some tiny trace of oil on the blade (won't affect function in anyway).

I would buy it in a heartbeat if there was no oil in the blades. A little oil is ok but there is no guarantee that it will not spread of evaporate condensing on the glass elements. To the op, are you sure it is oil and not just a shine?
There are no gurantee when buying old used lense, that's why I try to post the description as accurate as possible.
The oil is minimal, you do have to look hard to find it.
It causes 0 problems. I am sure it will take years or decades before more oil could cause any problems.
