Is there anyone use it with Nikon body?
Compare to Nikon counterpart like Nikon 24-70mm, Does it worth the hassle to use this lens on Nikon body?

That's a shame. I think it's my .htaccess blocking direct linking to items into the gallery. But if I just paste the link FM omits the last .html and attempts to post the image..

The shot has not been PP'd very much - which actually stunned me by the 35-70 IQ and detail level! Focus to infinity never fails...hehehe

If you want the look and flexibility...it is well worth it. I have it on a D700 and admit I need to use it more. I have never had the Nikon 24-70 (didn't want it....too big) but the resolution from the 35-70 should be better than the 24-70. The 35-70 beats the pants off most primes out there.

Doesn't Nikon adaptation require surgery? Just curious. I saw few adaptors for Nikon, though with optical element.

Did you check the instructions on the leitax website? It does seem to be quite a hassle to install the Leitax mount...
I have a Leitax/Nikon-mount converted 35-70. All "special" treatment that is required is the relocation of a small spring in order to pull the aperture lever in the opposite direction as described on the Leitax website. The spring has a little bit of glue on the attachment points that needs to be removed, but overall it is not a really big deal and fully reversible as well. Not recommended for those who have never worked on flimsy mechanical stuff though..

There is a small metal spring at the bottom of the adaptor locking to the mount. You need to push it outwards in order to remove the adaptor from the lens.

I bet I over tightened it when putting it on.

I am not sure about what adaptor you are using, but mine does not require any tightening at all - it just clicks in place and the spring locks to the grove on the actual lens mount. I just use a small screw driver and gently push the spring outwards on the rare occasions I need to remove the adaptor.

Yeah, I over tightened the first one.
I bent the metal spring on that one, it was canted.
Luckily two came in on the same day, eh?
Anywho, I got the second one on now, and I didn't use "excessive" tightening this time!
Not that I thought I used excessive force on the first one...

exactly right. I am actually on my 2nd 'leitaxed' 35-70. the first one I didn't realize there was glue on the spring and lets just say things got messy. I actually had to keep the old, bended spring hanging inside the lens and attach a new one Plus I scratched the hell out of the rear optic cover. Here are some surgery pics:
BUT....that certainly didn't affect the picture quality. Oh yeah, I also forgot to cover the optics when I was 'messing' around. See the dust that got in:
