There's a new baby in the house so I need to free up some cash...
EXCELLENT condition 1D, serial # 019xxx. Comes with everything as new in the original box, including a Canon OEM battery and a Delkin that both hold full charges.
There are a little over 14,600 actuations.
I had posted a WTB a few months ago looking for a museum quality 1D and I got pretty much just that.
Between work and the new baby, I have a nice enough P&S that's seeing all the action.
In the box is the Canon dual charger, dummy coupling to run the camera on A/C, 1D manual, Canon software install CD, firewire cable, and probably a few other things I'm not remembering at the moment, but will look into and update the post as necessary.
As stated, the camera is easily a 9/10 condition, with even very minimal brassing on the hotshoe. No marks or dings on the camera, except for the usual rub spot on the bottom that all 1Ds seem to suffer from.
At this point, price is $500.00 and I'll cover UPS Ground shipping with insurance and tracking.
Not interested in any trades.
Payment is is only by USPS money order, bank cashiers check, or personal check by an established FMer.
NO PAYPAL.
Sorry, US only, no international.
I will try to get some pictures today that I can e-mail interested parties.
I think my feedback speaks for itself, that what I sell or trade is AT LEAST as good as described.
Thank you Beau.
I think the reason the beauty is still here has to be due to the economy. People just aren't spending the way we used to.
This classic is FAR too pristine for me to go much lower on it...
I'll give it a little longer and I may drop the price a little more, if not, I'll just hang on to it and relist it down the road.
It's a gem, and I'm not going to price it down with the aged, battle-scarred veterans with high actuation counts.
Does to me, and things are OK...As a matter of fact, I am back with another 1D classic as a backup myself...something about the sharpness and image right out of the camera. I know my old 1D found a good home, but I still hated to give it up...I guess it is true about never forgetting your first one
And a nostalgic bump for the OP...
That's so true, Brian.
Sharpness and color straight OOC, as well as the still currently unrivaled speed...
That's why I keep going back to them when the ca$h is there.
I thought that too, Beau!
When you both had posted to "vouch" for me, I had known that you bought a 1D from Brian.
Small FM world!
