Recently acquired a 100 MP ZF and loving it with the D800, though wide open is tough to really nail the focus. The bokeh is gorgeous and the Zeiss construction is like nothing I've ever experienced. Now to add a 21mm if my wallet can magically stretch
I've loved my ZE 50mm Planar ever since I got it, but it's had a fresh breath of life since being attached to my a7. Here's a few of my son playing on the beach near where we live. All on the a7, all at f2.5.
One from last night as the blood moon here was waning. Earlier in the night it was a nice orange when lower on the horizon, but at this point it just had red around the edges. I wish I could have shot earlier.
First time posting here, but I blame this thread for a costing me a lot of money over the last few years. Here is one from a few weeks ago on the 5d3 and 21mm Distagon ZE. The Kakuta Misaki Lighthouse 80m above the Sea of Japan.
Out and about today, exploring the grave of the Tokugawa Nobuyasu, the son of Tokugawa Ieyasu the Shogun. Nobuyasu was suspected of treachery against his father so he was ordered to commit seppuku, he slit his own belly and was then beheaded in September 1579.
These are all shots leading to his grave, taken with the Sony A7r and the 135/2 APO ZE.
