This is from a recent hike in Russian Gulch not far from Mendocino, CA.

Just a quick question that's probably been addressed, however...does anyone know which is better: 35FE 2.8 or 35ZA 2.8, purely in terms of performance?

What is 35ZA 2.8? The fullframe E-mount 35mm lens is called Sony FE 35mm F2.8 ZA Carl Zeiss Sonnar and it has nothing to do with this thread.

I have had the ZE135 for a little over a month now and absolutely love this lens. So glad I traded in the 21/2.8 that I never used for it. There is almost never CA or fringing and the photos look incredibly lifelike. It weighs a metric ton even compared to my 85/1.2 but I have largely gotten used to carrying it around without a camera strap.
