I'm just back from a month in Spain (rarely online since these forums don't work quite the same on an iPad, so lots of catching up and 'Likes' to dispense ! ), where there was plenty of work for the 21/2.8, so here we go !
Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia' in Barcelona, a simply astounding architecture (probably the most impressive, jaw-dropping, building I've seen - and I've lived in both Hong Kong & Shanghai where there are plenty of them ! ), due for completion around 2025
First shot I've processed from the 'Spain batch' (those are not coloured lights above - that is light pouring through the stained glass windows) :
Lieutenant Z - keep the mysteries coming.
cyra - thank you. I have not been in Workum for about 25 years.
akul - simple yet effective.
Ronny - thanks for reminding me that my flare page is incomplete.
Frogfish - the Sagrada is a wonderful place.
Toothwalker, Kudos for remembering the place and its name after so many years! When I posted it, I wondered what the name of the town was, I was there 3 years ago...
Thanks Ronny and everybody else for comments and likes.
some shots from Bavaria, first ZF 25/2.8, others 100 MP
Cyra - I see the strong contrast of 25, quite strong in 3 dimensional subject.
Ronny - Nice shot!
Frogfish - Gorgeous! I visited Sagrada Familia many years ago, when it did not have roof over alter. Only saw the plaster model. I must go back to Barcelona soon.
Cyra, Toothwalker & Akul plus those donating Likes - thank you.
The Sagrada is indeed an amazing place and worth a 2nd or 3rd or 4th trip of anyone's time. Incredible to think of how long this construction has been in progress and that they are still working to Gaudi's plans (since he knew this building was as, he put it, 'for each generation to contribute to' and that it would never be finished before his death - hence his forethought and planning for post mortem).
Cyra - I knew I had seen that landscape (or similar) before, then I saw where you live, Salzburg. We lived for 3 years in the South, just outside Klagenfurt, in Volkermarkt. Stunning scenery all year round.
