Whats with them negative waves? Why not stop that policing and focus on posting images related to thread title instead of bringing up a personal story about an exotic zoom with zero connection to content here?
There are plenty of Planar 50/1.4 images on these pages, dont expect we'll ever see a ZE/ZF 80-200.

I don't know what are the rules, my personal posting rules:
- ZE images to this thread
- Contax, Jena, ZA images to Zeiss Lens Photos and Discussion
- Leica images to Leica R Series Lenses
- Voigtlander, Pentax, Olympus etc. random stuff to Alternative Image Thread 3
The system that nobody manages this forum kind of works, but I would not mind if somebody would suffle threads around based on how popular they are. For example within current message volume this thread and other Zeiss thread should be combined. This is just because I don't like image threads, which don't have enough traffic. I'm sure there are other opinions as well.
I also don't see point to have two A7 image threads (or three if the rangefinder is counted as one), one would have been enough - and over time these should be thrown away and images to normal image threads. I have never understood camera specific image threads, if they have nothing to do with camera. 75% of A7 image thread content has NOTHING to do about camera, and posts should have been posted to existing image threads - again just my opinion, sure there are lots of other opinions. I plan only post camera (or FE native) related stuff to A7 threads. I can't understand why I would post for example ZE-lens images to A7 thread, if they have nothing camera specific even shoot with A7. If people have brains we should have soon lots more traffic in Alternative Image Thread 3 people posting their Canon FD etc. images, finally possible due to A7. Or if people don't have brains, we have 10 more A7 image threads.

Right, I am resolved to post A7 images only in the first, most general A7 image thread, and only when it is not Zeiss non-FE or Leica R lenses, which have their own threads. That would be this thread:
