Great shot Jochen, I went to Tuscany in 2007 on honeymoon and its probably the best holiday I've ever had, Tuscany is amazing and Montepulciano serve some fab galato
Yes sping in Tuscany is beautiful.
I was still shooting slides in 2007 so these are in the dim and distant dark ages for me as far as scanning and workflow go.
These were probably taken either on 28/2.8 or 35-70 contax zeiss, no exif means I have no idea
Looking at the colours these must have been on Velvia, may have a few original slides left somewhere.
Recently brought out the ZE 100MP for dinner with a friend and a walk after that. It's been too long since I used it. So I shot some food, a headshot, and still life.
@Johnahill: Very nice light and saturated colors in both of your shots.
@Reza: cool compositions with the shoes :-)
@Ronny: I'm guess that this is from Karlskrona (grew up in Ronneby...). Looks very cold despite the sun being up.
@alkanphel: Especially like the second shot. Both the grayscale and the very rapid transition from sharp to unsharp. Cool.
A few shots from a recent trip to Argentina. First two are from Perito Moreno (roughly a 40-60m high iceshelf/glacier gliding into a lake...). Third one is from El Chaltén.
D800 + Zeiss [email protected] - tried to isolate the ice from the background.
Very nice Gary. I actually fired off a few frames with the ZF25/2.8 this afternoon...much less scenic, but proved again to me how nice this lens performs.
I have the 21 and 100MP in ZF mounts and I am blown away by the images. The 21 is very easy to use but I am still learning to focus the 100MP properly. The focus confirmation is not very accurate and I have no way of doing AF fine tune for it.
I am now also considering to add a third and final zeiss lens to fit in between but I am rather undecided. I just sold my 35G not being completely satisfied with it. Thinking of the Sigma 35mm or 35/2 ZF and also the 28/2 and 50MP. I would like to hear what the guys here have to say
