I have the hardest time focusing at midranges in poorly lit indoor spaces haha. It took maybe 20 shots to finally get one where I had the focus right. I suppose I could have shot at f4 or something but I like the natural vingetting for our weekly photos. My right eye is also slightly worse than my left, I may have to try and adopt a cross face shooting style.
At close distances like this the focus is actually quite easy to nail because the fine details become larger.
Nat - I've seen that shot of your wife and 20 weeks somewhere else, which other forums do you frequent ? It' s doing my head in trying to remember where I've seen it !

Ronny, Beautiful shots !
Z - Like that lighting.
Ricardo - It has been a while to see your work here. Beautiful series. Those towers are so beautiful. From Toscana ?
I was in Ottawa for work and read up on this amazing place. So I caught the train over in the morning as they were getting set up for their holiday event.
Zeiss 21mm and CY 28mm. Some wb warming, on tripod, canon 5D2 f16 no HDR. Doesnt need it. A few more:
Hi there,
Finally I aquired my first Zeiss ZE lens. And this is 50P. I captured some shots and have mixed feelings, yet I'm somehow excited of having a new gear to master. The number of Zeiss fanboys has increased by 1
Here they are (PP RAWs):
My Flickr photosream contains also sooc jpegs to compare with postprocessed ones.
Nice results! Keep in mind that what you are doing here is what this lens is weakest at Close up and fairly wide open. Anything else you do it will be better at.
