Markus, that is a really nice shot, but it is just so bright and colourful and happy compared to this summer's work, I can hardly believe they came from the same person
I absolutely love this thread - there is some stunning work here - however trying to work back through nearly 800 pages is killing me
I have a few Contax Zeiss on Pentax (28/2.8, 85/1.4 and 35-70) but have now started buying them for my new D800. The 35/2 (stunning lens) was first up and next week a 21mm will join it so I hope to be able to contribute to this thread from time to time even though I'm not anywhere near the level of some of the superb togs on here (at least not yet anyway)
However living in China at least I can't complain about the scenery (just got to get there) !
Can anyone tell me how to get my images to display full width and not at this reduced size ? Thanks !
@Dimitirs77 - It is wide! Can't wait to get it on a tripod to see how well it does there. It's making me think that I could part with my 21ZE and move to the 25/2. Then I would have 15, 25, 35, 50, 100 . . . probably wouldn't need much more!
I originally bought mine for the D800, but eventually decided to sell the D800 and am now shooting the ZF.2 on my 5D III with a Fotodiox adapter. It's really nice that the ZF.2 has the aperture ring, which makes using on a Canon easier than, say, a 14-24mm. I think the 2/25 delivers a remarkably clean and sharp image.
To be honest I find the 21mm challenging but its such a nice lens. Its really much better than my old 24 TS-EmkII but I think I preferred the 24mm better. Maybe if anyone decides to get rid of their ZE25.
