Frogfish: I must go back to china. Care to reveal the area where you shot that photograph; the scenery is stunning.
That one (there are more to come) was taken at Huangshan Mountain. A short flight (ca. 45 mins) from Shanghai. It is an amazing mountain with so many different aspects to it. 1870m2 and the highest of a small range of 60+ mountains in this area.
Johnny B Goode - Great mono shot of the bike rack, dof seems perfect.
Ulff - Lovely nightshot of Berlin
Frogfish - Nice mountain scene, would like to see it big to see the fine detail
Bob - Some nice shots with the 15, can't wait to see some in 'good' light
Here's one of mine from the archive.
ZE35 processed 3 times and combined in photomatix.
Not normally the sort of style I go for but have to have a go once in a while
Thanks Stefan and John! John: I like the processing of your car shot, especially of the car itself (less so for the background) that looks really excellent!

Markus, that is a really nice shot, but it is just so bright and colourful and happy compared to this summer's work, I can hardly believe they came from the same person
- yeah, and I must admit that I actually feel a bit uncomfortable with this kind of shots, but from time to time... This snapshot around the corner fits my summer's work probably better (again ZE 21):
JohnAHill, not really a fan of pushed HDR look, but that care shot is great the way you processed it. Amazing difference in the smooth reflection in the bumper vs. the grungy detail elsewhere.
Had some fun in Monterey the last couple of days and got these with the 1.4/35...my new favorite lens (Don't tell my C/Y 100/2 or Leica 100 APO that they are now back seat).
I finally got to start testing out that new Distagon 15mm ZE in my company's vacant former HQ. There is a plan to refurbish it as technical center. I have permission to go in and photography the empty building so today, I basically shot only the 15mm.
Distortion no, alignment yes! This lens is so wide you need to take extra care when you want things to line up in proper perspective. This lens definitely has the Zeiss look and it's plenty sharp. More playing to follow . . .
Great set with the 35, Jim! Lots of 3D-pop in the pumpkins (guess its almost impossible not to get 3D pop with that subject...)
Impressive shots with the 15mm, Bob. Almost no distortion. Great light in #2 and #3 which make them my favs.
Location was Monterey, CA / Pacific Grove, CA. There are a number of rocky points jutting into the ocean off of Sunset Rd that are accessible after dark. These were taken from one of them.
