A few images taken yesterday in the City of London with the Zeiss 21mm f2.8 on a Nikon D800E
Lightroom 4 does an amazing job correcting the mustache like distortion
and the B&W duotone conversion
Thinking of purchasing the 100mm f2.0 an amazing lens by all accounts as I can see from the excellent images on here- getting good results with my macro 90mm SP Tamron still but I think that it would be good to get the extra clarity from the Zeiss
Gary: lovely series. loved the 2nd one.
user222: nice one with the 100MP. very pleasing colors.
Jochenb: beautiful evening shot. nice and smooth tones.
nicoimages: wow. amazing shots with the 21mm. loved that last one.
Hugo: fantastic shots with the 21.
Great shot all around.
I was searching for the C/Y images thread and found out that it has been locked/archived. Any way to rejuvenate that thread? or do we start a fresh thread for those C/Y images?

Nicoimages : stunning set!
Jochen : I liked the dog shot.
Pingflood : what a lovely portrait !
Luka : nice set even tough I far prefer your street shots
the first one has some strange bokeh to me taste (nice pic though :-) ), bokeh in the second one looks much calmer.
How do you like it for close shots generally?
Hexonxonx - Very nice. Nice capture of soft light, which works great for 1.4 WO shot.
Bob - Beautiful star field ! Great shot.
hmzimelka - Interesting experiement. Love the color.
pingflood - Nice portrait. BW works well with the mood.
Gary - Love your series. It has very interesting symmetry. First three shots with subject on the left, turnig towards the viewer, then the last one to flip it. FIrst shot ( with your son ? ) showcases the great color and bokeh of 35 2 I has always loved. I can feel the water on my feet!
user222 - Good showcase of 100MP's detail.
Jochen - Nice capture ! Love that light and sky/
niconimages - Beautiful set ! For the first set, I prefer the duotone version. Great find. It feels like a Big Brother surveillance robot staring at you.
Hugo - Wow ! That is gorgeous. Did you do light painting or was it existing light ?
Lieutenant - Stunning. Great contrast light and dark. Super composition !
Grenache - Amazing color from 25/2. The very first shot, the bokeh is quite melty and yum.
Cyra, 25/2 is sharp close up, but the rental I had was not 0.4x max magnification. It was more like the 0.25x of so many other lenses. Infinity was fine, so don't know if its helicoid got messed with or if it started that way.
The shot with funky bokeh had light coming through the trees onto fine grasses and stems...very challenging. In general, the bokeh on the 25, close or far, is nice and buttery.
Akul, I had to pull back on the saturation some on the 25 shots. Just incredible how it handled colors.
