Btw. I have been meaning to ask... Has anyone else here used a 35L? Have you noticed that the Zeiss is quite a bit less wide? It took me a while to get used to it, but after a couple of months I stopped thinking about it. I do wonder though which one of them that really is 35mm (perhaps none of them).
Love all the flower macros on this page - never thought that I would use my new 35mm f2 ZF lens this often on the NikonD800E but it seems to have become my standard lens

I'm in phase where I seem to lose the ability of focusing manually, or loosing the faith and patience to do it. My already heavy D700 plays a part also.
I've been spying at the Nikon 24-70 but that one is a monster weighing at more than 1 kilos so I cant imagine how heavy it is with the D700. On the other hand the micro 4/3 seems excellent and the news fast primes are sexy so I checked samples (native size), but in the end full frame is still the way to go..sigh..sorry for the rant..
