Thanks for the comments on my snail pictures :-)
zhangyue: I really like them pictures..fine details
U.C. : Really nice pictures .. are too many to comment all :-) 12 and 13 favorites
te4o - Beautiful baby !!
Picture This: WOW :-)
Rodluvan - Great catch !
akul : Great pictures from the park again :-)
Te4O: Congratulations! I barely remember when my kids were that small. Cherish those early, sleepless days. The feet and fingers grow before you know it.
Ridovan: Wonderful shot and framing of the fish (perch?). You took what cold have been harsh and made it playful.
Akul: Thank you. I am a big fan of your second cliff shot. Strong angles of the rock make a nice contrast with the soft, round trees below.
UC: Thank you. I really like your down-the-alley shot of Sacre Coeur and the bike lane shot. I miss Paris. It has been far too long since I have been there.
Thanks for comments, all
UC, Some of images are very very nice, wish they are bigger
Luka, Both looks great and slightly prefer the 2nd one.
Manu, Nice composition with beautiful color.
Some more to share, I am braver to use Planar 50 Wide open with D800E with more experience .
Both WO, I wish I didn't frame the car too tight to show more about OF rendering. That is a street parking with both front and back another car parking.
zhangyue, great details in 1st set of uploads! Like very much 2nd one from the 2nd set.
U.C., fine series. 7 & 12 are my favorites.
akul, another set of peaceful images.
Picture This!, nice light and composition.
MJHFIN, excellent details & colors.
Ronny _Olsson: Great snail shots. Nice textures and toning.
Lieutenant Z: Beautiful as always
nicoimages: Great details. Love it.
Picture This!: Wonderfully colorful; great detail on both sets
akul: I love the second shot. Nice work
Grenache: Simply stunning
te4o: lovely.
Rodluvan: I like the bokeh
zhangyue: Wonderful perspective
U.C. Love number 4 and you make me miss Paris.
MJHFIN: Love the details
Prosep: wonderfully balanced and subtle tones
A few from Northern Wisconsin. A beautiful end to a beautiful day with the 21 Distagon.
I'm way behind and trying to catch up. Wonderful photos everyone!
Just some FYI... I sold my D800, Zeiss Lenses and all gear to take a year off. However, I will definitely still be hanging around for the inspiration. Also, I did manage to purchase a Fuji X-Pro1 and 35mm which FedEx was supposed to deliver at 10:30 a.m. this morning (still not delivered at 1:31 p.m.) Argh!
Would love to see some Fuji and Zeiss photos. Any thoughts on what should be my first Zeiss purchase for the X-pro1? Also, does anyone know the adapter I need for Zeiss glass?

rji2goleez: Thank you.. Really nice pictures by you with 21mm :-)
prosep: really like the first picture .. nice :-)
zhangyue: Amazing photos :-)
MJHFIN: Love it :-)
Hey Daniel, but I dont think it shows the 50mp at its best.
I'm back a few pages looking at the images. You have some really nice work back here.
Look at all these amazing pictures from everyone ....gotta get back to them, likely be my whole day and Lyn is making me a Lemon meringue Pie (insert fat grin here)
F100 is here and mint $165 and Ive got a ton of Tri-X @$4 a roll.
The F100 ...lets just say its likely the best street body I could have chosen, I'm seriously smitten.
I'm glad you got the F100, you were talking about a F4 or other F's, but I was meaning to tell you to get the F100. It is by many considered the best of the lot. IU've heard nothing but good, very good about it.
How is it ergonomically to the D700 and the viewfinder, is it loads better?
The viewfinder is stunning, the focus screams at me. Only thing I don't like is that it has a plastic back door but I'll get over it. Multiple focus points, AE lock on the shutter ..Awesome ..Awesome street camera and all the controls are identical to the D700. 4x AA NimH adds nothing to the weight and with a zeiss on its like holding a kitten thats eaten a brick.
Too much film in the fridge so I have to eat all the pie today coz it wont fit (grin).
