Edward, great photos with your new GXR! I've enjoyed mine so much that I expanded the lens line-up to include the ZM 25/2.8, 35/2.8 and CV 15/4.5 and 35/1.2. The Nokton only comes out when I need the speed. I personally prefer the overall rendering of the C-biogon at all apertures, and the Nokton feels a bit unbalanced on the small GXR body.
Not sure what you use to process your GXR files, but RPP has worked wonders for me in diminishing color artifact compared to Aperture. I still get moire, but it is much less offensive as well. I pretty much do everything now in RPP except cropping, local corrections, and occasional Nik filters.

Thank you Matt! It's really a great little camera. After seeing the results of no AA filter, there is no going back, even with the occasional moire. I am using ACR (via PSE). Many recommended RPP but I'm on windows 7. I know there is a way around it, so perhaps I will give it a try sometime soon. As for my lens line up (25/2.8, 35/2, 50/2, 85/4), I coincidentally bought the lenses that produce a modern Zeiss look. It was not intentional but I'm very happy with that lucky decision
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you over here
Frezeiss, beautiful shots! I wish you could have shifted focus a bit more to the foreground in the last one, but very nice nonetheless.

I intend to post more as time allows. Not much time for photography lately due to work and weather. I'm going through a bunch of photos from a recent family trip and will try to post some. RPP is better, but not yet faster for me, as compared to Aperture. By the way, my wife and I were almost going to be in your neck of the woods in May, but my vacation got attenuated, so we decided not to make the big trip this time around. Keep 'em coming
frezeiss, I really like the composition/focus and colors on the last one
Lieutenant, the third is my fave. Great color, contrast, and detail. The roof in the foreground is the kicker. I end up using the 100MP for compressed landscapes more than anything else.
Ulff, really nice B&W image, really intensive patterns.
Edward, GXR colors look really nice (or do ZM lenses have stronger colors than ZE/ZF)
Dalmas, really nice rendering in gray bricks f/2.8 images.
Rodluvan, Morris looks great. 2/28 has really great rendering, and in urban environment it's easy to hide to annoying corner bokeh, like you did.
Lieutenant Z, I don't know how you did it but the 4 images of village with 100 and 35 are really clear, I always get annoying haze to this kind of shots.
Gunzorro, thanks for analyze, gave something to think about.
"Rapolanharju 2012/4" - Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1,4/85 @ f/2.8, 1/1000s, ISO 100
"Rapolanharju 2012/5 " - Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1,4/85 @ f/2.8, 1/400s, ISO 100
"Rapolanharju 2012/6 " - Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1,4/85 @ f/2.8, 1/1000s, ISO 100
Lars - Beautiful contrast of color with the statue in white corridor. Great composition.
Samuli- So glad you posted those green jogs. They are quite funny in the meticulous way. More recent shot of tree, #2 stood out to me.
Ulff - Great arch shot. Yeah, quite intense pattern and detail.
Gary - Beautiful B/W shots of temple. #1 and #3 are my fav.
Edward- I like the color of the painting shot.
Dalmas- Nice portrait. I however am more drawn to the #2 and #3 for their sense of space.
JIm - Great set of bridges. I really like the PP on the Brooklyn Bridge shot. Well done!
Rodulvan - #2 is stunning. Love the juxtaposition of buildings and appliance on the road. Great find !
frezeiss - Wow that tree shot is great. Nice color and detail.
Lieutenant - Brilliant shots. Love the clarity and sense of space captured. Trees on the #2has quite a rich variation in color. Great capture.
Lieutenant Z, thank you! What a beautiful countryside. Where is it? #2 and #3 are my favorites.
Matt, it would be great to see you in this part of the world. Do let me know if you can make it.
Samuli, very nice! The first one is just superb! Thanks for your comment on colors, I am not sure if it's the GXR, the lenses, or the default settings in ACR. I usually stay very near the default settings in my PP, adding just a bit of vibrance to enhance the blues.
Dalmas, you're welcome! Nice shots, especially the second one.
alpenglowing - Nice abstract on the first one. I like the renditin of oof background. Second one is mysterious, I keep looking at it as if there is a membrane on the circle.
Picture This - Perfect exposure and good composition of beach shot with a couple.
JaanOs - Nice capture. I like the diagonal composition.
Dalmas - Nice set. I like the way how they are related with vertical comp, subject isolation, water, and cityscape beyond.
Akul : great framing, light and color. Really nice!
Picture This : nicely done, nice simplicity
Jim : 2 nd one is a winner
Dalmas : like all your last shots but especially 2 nd in first set
Samuli : great work with 85P, impressive 3D
