I better not embarrass myself next time to do this kind of guessing work. However, I think this is a great thread to make this thread a little bit livelier.

Ralph, be very very careful here. Lurking in this forum has been shown to be directly responsible for an uncurable disease . . . Zeissitis, also known as "empty your bank account disease." Once you get this disease, you'll stop at nothing to keep adding to your Zeiss collection.
Welcome!
welcome where? In heaven or hell?
My bank account is already emty since years. So that would not be increase the deseas. I am already ill. And beeing infected might feel better in a group where we lick each others wounds.
Zeiss lenses must be much cheaper here caused in less transportation costs, right?
After a year-long hiatus from Zeiss glass, I'm back with some more images. I've tried ~25 lenses during the last 3 years or so, and I've finally figured out that these two lenses (and these two focal lengths) are the most enjoyable for me to use.
You guys just awe me with the quality of your work. All the usual suspects, dubaiphil, lieutenant Z, Akul, Samuli, Anthonysimone, Rodluvan, Gary, Bob, Ulff! Each of you deserves full congrats and creds!
I know that I have hardly been posting any DSLR pics on this thread for months, but that is about to change. [puts on gravelly voice, with menacing tone] I will be back!
Some SOOC Raws (default processing in Aperture) using the Distagon T* 2/25 ZE. My local retailer just got it in and I just had to try it out!
I love the 25mm's size and weight, and it seems to have a really beautiful rendering. It's definitely my next ZE lens to complement my 35 f/1.4 Distagon, and the 100mm Makro Planar.
