Philippe - In case you thought I meant I favored 35 over 25, that is not the case with me. Third set of comparisons ( 25 vs 35 on three standing and one reclining figures) I liked the 25 rendering slightly more. I also see the benefit of having lens line up with similar rendering style. Regarding the corner performance, as far as I can see, I don't quite see them as problematic either. Actually, for your shooting style, I see the 25 to be a better fit than 21.
Donat - Gorgeous butterflies ! #1 is my fav
Lieutenant - I really like the 'through the fence' view of Governor's Palace in Nancy shot.
Liquidpics - Very nice portraits with splash of color in background
Gregg - Love your 50P shots. I can't believe you have cherry already blooming on the West coast. What happened to our winter ?? I also like the rose shot, interesting pp.
Rodluvan - The first two street portraits are really good. Great exposure, and all, but what really catches my eyes with your work is that you have a way to capture 'life' coming through your shots. Brilliant.
Jochenb - Interesting shot. I can't quite tell what the man is doing, whether he is shooting something, or got caught by your lens and trying to escape. I don't know why, but it has some humorous element in the shot.
Joakim - Great abstract shot of stair and tape. Quite striking. I also like that table in snow shot. Nice composition and title. B/W works well on this. Sort of make me wonder how you differentiate your use of 85P and 100MP. ( I thought you had 85 P )?
Siddhu - Very nice shots of elephant. I like the #2 ( close up shot)

( Noticed image was 'enlarged' so edited link. A bit of a black magic. It is the same address, but it seems to show properly now. )
Liquidpics, its the pixelated graduation in his cheeks in the first and in the white-black transition in the out of focus area of the second that look odd to me. Maybe thats the limitation of a giff. Its nothing to do with the photo or post processing (the sharpness looks fine to me). I would just recommend uploading in jpeg format as you do not have any pixelation like that.
Luka, I do have the 85P and it is a favorite and this is also a reason why I haven't gotten the 100MP earlier. Since I got the 100 MP so recently I haven't differentiated between them yet but normally this would have been a 85P photo, I bought the 100MP to be my main macro lens and also I must admit to see what the fuss is all about since this is considered to be one of the best(sharpest) Zeiss lenses.
frezeiss - Great portrait. Love the color background, but my fav is #3
Grenache - i really like the deep saturated #1.
MJWong- Elegant and beautiful shot. Very nice B/W
rexx714 - Nice pov
LiquidPics - I like the two as a set. They work together very well.
Joakim - The reason why I asked was because it felt like that would have been a 85 Joakim shot. How are you enjoying your 100MP ?
Luka, lovely work..I think the color version grabs me more.
Edward, the second shot is beautiful! Did you use the 25 with digital also? I've been contemplating to get a 25 biogon or 24 elmar for the 5N. Sometimes I feel the elmar to be a little too slow though
Thank you frezeiss! Actually I am shooting only film at the moment, but the ZM 25 is an outstanding performer on digital too. Many guys on the alt forum can vouch for it
I did some shooting on the fly in my grandmother's house all at 1.4... what do you think?
Focus ring is great, very soft but also difficult.
You can't trust canon red focusing light in viewfinder, your eyes only.
Doing so I am getting better results,
Light Pilgrim advised me shooting this way, he was right!
thanks
35mm 1.4 is a great lens, the best i've ever mount.
