Nice shots. You always seem to be fearless on the streets, shoving your camera in people's faces (I like that more than street photography with tele lenses). Do you ever get comments about it?
I think it was Gilden who said, 'I'm so close people don't even realize I'm photographing them' (which is why the 28mm is fun to use).
There's a lot of truth in that, and your appearance and speed. Make an effort not to come across as someone creepy; dress appropriately, don't try to hide or run, act casual and people seldom react negatively.
This is also why I believe women would make excellent street photographers. People are seldom as threatened or provoked by women as they are by men, especially if we're talking about taking photos of other women and perhaps children (which I VERY seldom do out of three reasons: actual discomfort about how people will react, a belief that they are entitled to a little more privacy and they seldom make for very good street photos imo).
Anthony,
The 25/2.8 is the mystery lens. Outside of a reputation for field curvature there aren't a lot of sample photos or reviews. A 25mm would be a better fit for me, but it's hard to ignore the praise for the 35/2.
Sandy.
I believe the slamming of the 2.8/25 is a perpetuated internet myth. Sure, it has its short-commings, but I'd pretty sure it's no way near its bad rep.
In a blind test I'd place a good deal of money few could tell it apart from the other wide angle semi fast Zeiss lenses in everyday (not brick wall) shooting.

Sandy if you go back to pages 464 & 465 on this thread, the images that I posted are all from the 25/2.8 ZF.2 ... I have no issues with it, lovely optic.
Martyn,
Oddly enough, my first postings were also on 465. I remember I commented on those sharp and contrasty paintings that you posted. My real problem is I have a 28/2.8 ais nikkor that I've been pretty happy with. Somehow I thought life would be simpler when I quit using the zooms.
@Sandy..I an thinking about going with the 25/2.8 or the 35/2.0 Zeiss. Do you have any experience with either of these, and if so, how well do you think they would compliment the 50?
I'm sorry Sandy, I only have the ZE 35 1.4, and the 100MP, along with the 50 Planar. I hear that the 2/35 is fantastic, and has more POP than the 1.4/35, but I'm not sure. I don't think you can go wrong with either(25 or 35), to be honest!
Wfrank...#3 & #4 have some unusually funky bokehs which I dont normally associate with Zeiss. Great shots!...at MFD on the 50P, anything is possible!! It's by far NOT the sharpest at that distance, but I am able to get some pretty great shots..and I do LOVE the in close funky bokeh...it really gives the photos a really artistic feel, imho.
@Lieutenant Z... thank you for the kind words, and ai really like your night shots, especially the first!
@joakim...I would definitely get a grip for the 5Dll...makes all the difference in handling!
@carstenw.. thank you for your words, also1 Coming from you, that means a lot!!
@Sven Jeppesen...thank you, also
Gregg

If life were simpler it would be too easy ...
Had you considered the 21mm Zeiss, rather than the 25mm, that would keep you further away from the 28mm Nikkor.
