user222 - I really like your #1. Lovely texture there,
Rodluvan - Very yummy architecture shots.( #1,2,3) with #3 standing out with its unique view and the texture of wall. #4, the portrait is perfectly composed. Love the arches framing her. And yes, the infamous 1.4/50 ! I have the CY version and love it. Your shot really showcase the super detail this lens can bring out.
frezeiss - nice series. Beautiful water on the last one.
Ant - Love the caleidoscopic effect. Beautiful abstract.
Gregg - Lovely set. Great capure of your son. Perfect timing ! Oh, and congrats on 1.4/35. I got 1.4/35 myself early December. It took a little while to acclimate, now I love it so much I did not shoot with any other zeiss for 3-4 weeks.(I still used 70-200 to accompany 35 for hiking, this is my new hiking setup. ) Love your swing shot, and the last one showcasing the gorgeous focus transition. Wonderful capture of light on the basketball hoop. PS I take my camera everywhere I go, including to work. I hope you find ways to keep your artistic outlet.
Finally, I put ZF100 on. I am reminded how wonderful this lens is.

woww, as far as i've seen 21 gives more beautiful results in 5dm2 than the d700, does anyone think so? is it related with more megapixels?
i'm a d700 user
Don't know, but my guess is editing.
I've only had 5DmkII users complaining to me personally, after having seen some of my Zeiss photos (with D700), that they get banding and can't reproduce the the shadow areas, but my guess is that that too is mostly down to editing.
I try not to look at them that way Uzay but yes I see it sometimes out of the corner of my eye but I'm supposed to be looking at the beautiful pictures and so I push the thought away quickly before it takes hold. Look at lukA's picture, I looked at it for ages and imagined him standing there happy that he took it, and Greg sharing his afternoon with us.

I like that very much Rodluvan (exactly what is a Rodluvan Daniel?)
lol, just found it.
akul PS I take my camera everywhere I go, including to work. I hope you find ways to keep your artistic outlet...
Of course I do!! I am a UPS driver here in Santa Cruz, CA...and my route is by the beach, but I really don't have too much time while delivering(well sometimes!!)...
Thank you for the compliments..
Gregg

I am surprised to see how many Nikon FF user in this thread lately I think it is really depend what you do, for landscape, 21M certainly can have more detail than 12M. And Zeiss lens especially 21 deserve more pix if you asked.
I don't need 21M and almost never tripod shot anything since I almost never do landscape shot, 12M has good balance to me, I don't mind have more if pix is as clean or better than D700.
Nice shot. taz_k, Xtobolic, Martynas, frezeis, Ant, alkanphel, Bob, Lieutenant, FlyPen, jake40509, Jim, Akul, MorrieC, user222, IsleofGough, Rodluvan, Greg.
sorry for doing short comment as I missed several page already
Ant - Love that color of light. Sorry about wall shooting, but you can take time with slow tings like walls
Rodluvan - Very nice composition. Nice light coming through the door.
Uzay - Hmm, I would not say 21 sings better on 5DII in general. For landscape shots, 5DII sure has the advantage of more pixels. I wish I could sling out a 21 shot or two to say, D700 isn't that bad for landscape with 21 !. The problem is that I still struggle with landscape especially with 21, so I can't. Well, one day, I hope. 12mp is plenty for the small pix for the web, however 5DII's high pixel count seem to contribute to the 'there is more detail than what you see' look. Philippe's Versaille shots made me think of that a while ago.
Leiutenant - Great noir shots. Interestingly to me is the drama of lack of people on the second shot.
zhangyue - Gorgeous colonade shots with 85 planar. Really lovely focus transition. Oh, and the 50P shots are quite nice too.

Very atmospheric, very Westonesque.
I had to google 'Westonesque' in case it wasn't something akin to burlesque but it turns out that burle was an architectural tog so its OK every one can rest easy.
Gough, that first shot is great! Maybe play a little with CA removal, but otherwise really perfect.
Luka, great shots as usual! It's funny, half the time when I see your nature colour work, I think to myself "that's funny, I don't remember making or posting that shot", only to realize that it isn't my shot, but yours We have very similar taste and execution for some subset of our work
