Lieutenant - I apologize if my comment sounded too strong. I did not mean any negative way. Point of focus is an interesting subject and I am fascinated by its effect on the given scene.
Jim - Great layering effect. I like the texture of metal barrel.
Jochenb- It sounds like the salesperson is not interested in selling expensive lenses. Strange attitude. It sounds like he himself is a frustrated photographer.

Today I went to a store to try out the 85/1.4 ZE.
Very arrogant elderly salesman that already started laughing when I asked for this lens.
Some quotes:
- "People nowadays read some forums and think they need Zeiss or Leica to make good photos"
- "What's focus shift?" "I don't know it, but it's impossible that a zeiss lens has it"
- "Leica is not a company. It's panasonic who puts the name 'leica' on all those camera's." (we were talking about the X1 and M9)
...
I once had a salesman who told me it was impossible to get sharp pictures with a Zeiss ZF 35/2.
Jim, sorry I kept busy recently and completely missed your comment.
No, it's not HDR - native shot from a 5D only WB corrected and a little contrast adjusted..
Btw, fantastic shots with 100/2 - hat's off to you Sir!..
Jim Schemel, thank you! I like your book picture, very creative!
Smridevan, nice to know that my processing also works great for your pics! I love them! Your skyline picture is also amazing!
Fantastic shots everybody. That 100 MP sure makes amazing images (and I suppose the photographer has something to do with it ) Waiting for any kind of sunshine on the weekends here in MN - I'll just have to take what I can get.
