Lieutenant - I apologize if my comment sounded too strong. I did not mean any negative way. Point of focus is an interesting subject and I am fascinated by its effect on the given scene.
Jim - Great layering effect. I like the texture of metal barrel.
Jochenb- It sounds like the salesperson is not interested in selling expensive lenses. Strange attitude. It sounds like he himself is a frustrated photographer.

Today I went to a store to try out the 85/1.4 ZE.

No, it's not HDR - native shot from a 5D only WB corrected and a little contrast adjusted..
Btw, fantastic shots with 100/2 - hat's off to you Sir!..
