Thanks again people.
Great shot Flypenfly!
Superb still lifes again Martynas.
Luka, you did a large effort on commenting. Thanks. I'm going to print that shot of the beach/apartement building this week. I corrected the distortion.
As I also had the 35/2 I have the feeling the amount of distortion is about the same as with the 1.4
I like your semi-macro shot with the city skyline bokeh.
Another shot with the 35/1.4:

Martynas, beautiful lighting and setup. I could see them on the walls of a pastry/dessert shop or tea house. I especially like #1.
Akul, great composition and bokeh on #2.
Jsphoto, beautiful image...B&W works really well with that image.
Jim, very interesting image of the bulb.
MJWong, nice portrait...looks a bit soft or overly blurred to me though.

Thanks all for your kind comments
Akul, love your last shot with ZF 100 : the rendering is really graceful. Great shot!
Like your bike and flowers shot too : quite nice contrast.

Akul: The first Bench short make me want sit on it. Very 3D. Also love the flower shot.
JSPHOTOS: like the BW tower shot, is it a long exposre shot?
Jochenb: love the sunst beach shot.
Jim: Another brilliant idea. You never stop trying new thing.
MJWong: Nice lighting portrait. I guess the softness is either you purpose add it or flickr resize. As far as I know 35mm f2 is very contrast and sharp.

Martynas - beautiful series!! Wow.
Nice tower JSPHOTOS!
Lovely photo MJWong. Nice framing and skies.
zhangyue - that last photo is brilliant! The bokeh rendering / colours / composition is so nice!
Nice sunset Jochenb. Where was that taken?
akul - nice shots, I like the flowers in the bike basket shot a lot, try processing it more dramatically.
FlyPenFly - glorious shot.
Jim - lovely concept!

jochenb, Martynas, Smridevan, Lieutenant, zhangyue, Skumar25 - Thank you so much.
Jochenb- beautiful sky, I like the composition / crop a lot. Very nice pov. So I guess 35 1.4 still has distortion. f2 version's barrel distortion is quite strong though. Well, one day, I will be able to compare them, I hope.
Martynas - Ha ha, love that 'uncontrolled explosion'. Interesting the pitcher start to look like a spice vendor's face. Well done!
JSPHOTOS- Nice effect of slow shutter. The tower really stands out in the shot. B/W conversion works looks very nice.
Jim - Nice !
MJ- Good to see your work again. Nice portrait
Zhangyue - Love your shot. Very well done with 50 P. DOF feels deeper than my CY planar 50. Love the structured bokeh.
Skmar25 - Yeah, I sort of have an idea for processing. Might try this week.

edwardkaraa,Lieutenant Z,SKumar25,akul- Thanks for the comments.
The more DOF might come from slightly crop to 5X7. (Or maybe it is the P50 lens itself??)
I feel I am extreme lucky that this is a hobby so that I can try these wonderful ZF lens as long as I want and not worry about too much practical issue.
P50 is my favorite ZF lens out of all due to its form (Very light weight and ultra smooth focus ring) and dual factor. (Wide open for rendering and slow down for ultimate performance)
Occasionally, I could get ugly bokeh close the MFD and busy close-by back ground. Skip sample here The most of time, I love its bokeh the best, even more than ZF85.
Another one wide open at the same day:
And slow it down to f2.8, it get as sharp as I can get from any lens with incredible contrast and micro contrast.

zhangyue, skumar, Luka: thanks.
Skumar: it was taken in Ostend, Belgium.
zhangyue: I like that last shot. Love the gentler rendering of the planars.
(It's a pity I don't see more photos taken with the 85/1.4 in here.)
