Newbie in the alt lens. Just picked up a 35-70 Zeiss. Here are some images from Adirondack.
I posted it in the wrong forum, my mistake - I took the images out
Thanks! Sorry, I have very little experience with alt lenses in general. If you search around, I'm sure that comparison has been made considering how close the two lenses are in price.
gxgn - Love your shots from Adirondack. Especially #1 and #3.
By the way, there was a discussion here a while back whether this thread should include all zeiss or just to keep for ZE, ZF, ZM, ZA series. I personally prefer that this thread to be opened up more, but that idea did not get too much support. Number of people did not want this thread to expand, and Carsten started a thread that is all inclusive to any zeiss lenses. You might want to check out the other thread.
After spending so much time lurking in this forum, I thought I should probably post an image...
This was taken shortly after I received my 21mm f2.8 ZE. The exposure is technically "wrong" on this one, but the way this lens renders the details and range of tones in this scene, I actually prefer this image over the "correctly" exposed one.
Wow, amazing shots, loosh. Really loved #3 and #4. Were these taken on a NEX-5N? I saw one of the images in that thread as well. I have the NEX-5N with me and am waiting for the ZM 25 2.8 to arrive.
Nick: lovely shots as well. Liked #1 and #3. Loved those B&Ws as well.
Molson: Nice shot. Liked how the lens has handled the highlights.
Lars: loved the first one.

Thanks! Yes, they were taken with the 5n. You'll be happy with the Zeiss, and it's tough to beat the size combination.
