Thanks, Luka! So do I, actually. I tend to think it is one of my all-time favorites. Something about a Renaissance look...
BTW, I am trying out a M8 right now, to see if I can find a quicker way to bankruptcy...
I had my first night walkabout with the 2/35 on a D700 last night.
Really yummy colours straight out of the box at high ISO - I know I'm 3 years out of date but it's still a bit of an eyeopener after 2 years of D90 usage.
ISO4000 =
The girl's not bad either
The boyfriend spoils the view
Ulff,
nice one, what i am learning about the 100ZE is you can put the focus exactly where you want it and that area really stands out.As can be seen in your shot above.Nicely done.

Thanks Jim and Carsten! I agree: the ability to set the very narrow focal plane exactly were you want to and have at the same time a very sharp focal plane is a wonderful feature of this lens. I have used this lens a lot in the last three weeks and already like it very much. Live view is essential for perfect focus at f2.0. From f4.0 on I can nail the focus reliable with the viewfinder. The only thing I don't like so far are the OOF CAs wide open. They can be very annoying in some situations and I have to learn to foresee these situations, because I use this lens wide open in 80% of the cases.
have my coffee and am here for the night, looks like I'm off to look at 'Mighty Mo'.
Jim the carts are terrific, Jochemb, did you dip the 35 in paint and Philber that series is stunning, the end picture is masterful...just beautiful.
