Congrats and welcome, Robert S! Wow, that is a lot of new members and lenses in a short time! Does it speak for the attractiveness of the Zeiss offering, for the appeal of fM membership, or both?

Cyra - Gorgeous shots of the Alps. 50 MP shot from the first set and the #3 from the second set stood out for me.
R Young - Strange coincidence like yours also tend to happen with me on the first day or week of something new. Interesting stitch ( ? ) Interestingly, the upside down space looks more exciting.
Hexonxonx - welcome to the thread. Nice texture.
Robert S - Dramatic rose. Congrats on your 50 MP. ( assuming )
prosep - beautiful capture of sun set.

Its this exact forum that led me to go from no Zeiss' to two in about 1 week...
Akul, Yeah its a stitch, nothing too impressive to show yet I'm afraid, I'm waiting to go on my holiday next month to bring back better shots for this forum

Lars, please don't post any images from the 1.4 here. I've just put myself in a financially dark place getting the 35f2 and 21 this month. I cannot justify the cost of a 1.4 but I want it so badly! At least the 35 I was able to get at a good price second hand, the 1.4 will be expensive forever

Lars -- You are still my vote for "Worst Influence" on a camera forum.
Bad dog!
Looking forward to your next series. And I'm sure you will re-energize philber to publish even more stunning 35/1.4 shots.
akul and prosep -- More great shots!

I got my new 35/1.4 ZE today.
I was short on time and the weather is really bad right now, but some first quick impressions:
- Just like the other zeiss lenses, it's beautiful built.
- On a 5DII it feels a bit unbalanced. Front-heavy.
- Focusing the 35/2 feels easier/faster. Maybe because I'm still used to the smaller focus ring of the f2 + the 1.4 has thinner DOF.
- Good sharpness, already at f1.4
- It seems to have more CA than the f2.
- Some of the best color saturation/separation I've seen in a lens.
- The nicest bokeh I've ever seen in a 35mm lens.
It has a different look than the F2. A look that's just more appealing to me, smoother.
Might as well post a quick livingroom test shot at f1.4:

catching up a few pages back...
very nice Hemerocallis shot philber,
Lars, I like you nettle in the light - hope to see some more 35/1.4 shots from you guys
AjayC, your campfire shot is something different - interesting! the wildflower has disappeared. Love your closeup of the dandelion, I'd love to see more close ups with the 35/1.4 - does it render as nicely as the 35/2 with closeups?
victorperso, your bee on flower shot is interesting due to the strong background colour
GSteve, that is some awsome yellow car!
R.Young yout tunnel shot is inspiring. I am searching for a used 21...
Uzay I like the colour intensity in your shots!
prozep, very nice composition and colour in your 21 shot
Hexonxonx: nice tree shots, love the rendering
JochenB: congratulation to your new lens, I like your test shot, waiting for more
thanks alkanphel, JochenB, Lars, Gunzorro, akul, I have plenty more alpine shots, but need time to process, since I have no clue about HDR, and some need to be processed that way.
abhijeeth: it is austrian Alps the area is accessible by a high mountain road crossing the main alpine crest, which was already built between 1930-1935.
meanwhile a couple of roses to sprinkle in between (Hi Robert S )
