Looking at you latest contributions, Philber, you are apparently totally ignorant about a few facts. Firstly, everyone knows that you need at least f/11 and most likely f/16 to obtain those DOFīs. Second, you can not use the Distagon 21 for architecture due to the horrible mustache distortion. You should pay closer attention to facts about the 21 that are widely spread around the net, because you have failed badly on both accounts. Your images do not at all show any reason not to get the 21. As always splendid work.
Just read the da Vinci Code. Do you know whats hidden beneath that pyramid?
Yes, Z250SA, I know what is under the pyramid, but, if I told you, I would have to kill you immediately thereafter, and that would violate FM rules... and thanks for pointing out my weaknesses and inadequacies. You are so right.
Itīs so frustrating with the "Oh thanks guys for saving my money. So, itīs that bad, huh, the distortion? Yes, Iīll be fine with my good olī20mm Blurikon. You know, itīs almost sharp at f/16 and show beautiful colour, rainbows around all high lights.BTW I hear great things about the 24mm Flatcon Mk2."

Ever used a DoF calculator? 21mm at f/3.2 on a 5D has a hyper focaldistance of 4.65m with a near limit of 2.33m (with focus at 4.65m). So I think your wrong with your accusations.
I am tired of sitting on the sidelines just because I have ZF's instead of ZE
I only have my lowly D90 with me as the D700 is in the shop. A little more difficult to focus, but not bad to my surprise
First 4 with 21.......last two with 100. Snowboarder and Philber, add me to the list of people that bought these lenses (along with the 35 and 50) because of you
Few weeks not reading the thread and so much more great images. Last few pages were great, so funny to see flower images while everything is gray/brown here for next month...
rsolti13, since ZF/ZK and ZE lenses are all optically same they should belong to this same thread. Has anybody asked thread starter (prashant) to change the title to "ZE/ZF/ZK Images"?
Philippe does have bad influence... I did find myself shooting architecture as well with Distagon 21... Thanks Philippe for showing your city!
Paris Louvre 04 - Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/21 @ f/10, HDR, ISO 100
Paris Louvre 05 - Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/21 @ f/6.3, HDR, ISO 100

Samuli, it was great to shoot with you! I would do it again any time, and I hope to learn more from you by seeing now what you shot when we were together. Yesterday I took out my 135mm, which I hadn't used in months, and enjoyed it, thanks to you. Got to try that HDR thingy too...

All good but the I really like the gate picture the best!
I'd like to see a ZE 21, 28, or 35 used by a real architectural photographer who knows how to avoid convergence. Good quality of light, but they're killing me!
