Ah, I didn't realize that there were hills like that there. I went to Müggelberge and (its) Teufelsee the last three weekends. Maybe I will try Grunewald next time I have some free time. It is a bit far, since I live in Prenzlauerberg, but the S-Bahn is quick (sometimes)

Thanks, Uzay and Vincent. I've been around, just been lazy posting. I bought the ZF.2 85/1.4 a few weeks ago. It has become a favorite. Decent size, great colors, lots of pop and a focal length I enjoy. Good buy.
I took notice of your cool bike, Vincent.

Beautiful tree work, Mortyb. Makes me feel emoulus. (Correct term, Carsten?)
Er, ..., ? Envious?
Take the bike: well, I would love to, but when I bike, I see/photograph less well, and I don't want to leave it somewhere, having something nice a bit like yours. I tend to do one or the other, and since the birth of my daughter, I usually choose photography, which explains my steadily growing stomach I should get back on my bike. I need a solution. Hmm.

Seems I lucked into one of the archaic meanings Well, today I learned something. Never heard of the word before.
BTH fast bikes work extremely well against growing stomaches.
I have to re-examine my camera bags to see if something would work. I think there is also a special strap which keeps the camera close to the chest.
Nice photos again, although I find that the blue border, attractive though it is, competes with the colour in the image.

Thanks alkanphel, Lars and fracas.
Nice light in those macro's Lars
Mortyb: That first shot of the tree shows why the 85/1.4 has really grown on me. I really like that rendering.

Here are another two 50P/50MP comparison shots. This time just at 1024x683 pixels large (my new size which means perfect previews on my iPad), and the 50P is at f/1.4 (first), with the 50MP shot being at f/2 (second).
Shockingly, even at this relatively small distance, the 50MP has enough DoF to cover the front three corners of the car!
