My first post to this thread also. I am a new 25mm ZF owner, and am just learning how to use this lens. I've been learning a lot by reading this thread, and thinking that I may need to reevaluate my lens lineup!
Here is one of my first efforts. White Rock Lake in Dallas.

They don't make that one in ZE, ZF, mount. It's the Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2
Hi Lars,
The lens i'm looking at (a used one) is a Distagon T* 35mm f/2.8 converted to f-mount.
I'm just curious how the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 is, as i never tried any Zeiss lense before.
I was think of it as an replacement for my beatup 35mm f/2.8 Ai Nikkor.

rjigoleez and Uzay - Thanks very much, it is good to be here. The silky water took some effort. It was a bit choppy on the lake due to the wind. I was able to smooth it out, though, in PP.
I bought my 25mm ZF used, and feel like it has opened a new world for me. (even though I've had it only a few days). I've been interested to see that the 25 is not nearly as commonly represented in this thread as are other Zeiss models. I'm actually now considering selling my trusty Nikon 17-35 (which is a very good lens) in order to (partially) fund a 21mm Distagon. I do a lot of landscape work and also church interiors. Anyone want to weigh in on the wisdom of this? I must admit that I have seen so impressed by the many outstanding photos in this thread taken with the 21. Also hugely impressed by the photographers behind the cameras...
Partitura, welcome to this thread with yoru fine pic!
Hugo, love your first portrait!
Plasticmotif, really interesting composition, and beautiful execution IMHO!
Fuit_loops, your last two dropped my jaw! Amazing!
Beautiful tree shot, definitely, DJ!
And a nice pair from you too, HMzimelka!
i don't normally comment on this thread since i don't have any of these lenses or any interest in getting them in the immediate future, but the last few pages have been particularly spectacular! good work everyone.
also, add me to the list of people who want a print of oneant's funeral shot or whatever that is. i'd also be interested to hear if the guy had any reaction to the shot since he must have almost ran into the lens.
Here's a couple from yesterday's visit to the Kinderdijk windmills. It was a beautiful cloudless day so I played with shooting directly into the sun with the 21mm Distagon.
