akul, great use of form, pattern and colours to create the composition. The fence vs bridge photos are my favourites.
helimat, I like the b&w beach shot
Makten, a simple but very effective composition in the second photo.
Uzay, both beautiful and interesting photos.
Diploneis, simply excellent portraits
John, I prefer the one taken with the 50
Sang, #2 and #3 are very nice
Lovely pair, teh_rebel! After the tension of the first one, the second is pleasantly relaxing... unless it was taken right after a fall from the bridge? :-)
thanks guys. Hugo, talking bout light .. love the light on that one!!
philber, nope didnt fall in although it was the same day just different area ... i did walk through snow-covered rocks to try and get closer to the waterfall and trying not to step through Ice lol
Philber, your pictures show very nice composition but I found that your recent posts tend to be underexposed, if not badly underexposed.
It kind of ruins your otherwise beautiful pictures, maybe you should check your monitor calibration, or simply look at your histogram when adjusting RAW files without taking care of what your eyes see.
I hope my remark is not taken badly, it's just that I had the same issue with my monitor and when I lowered the brightness, the right exposure was back here again.

Two shots of Trianon after sunset with Sony NEX5 and ZM 35C Biogon f:2.8. The nEX is so small that I mount it on a very light tripod (Cullmann), and I got away with it where I would have been undoubtedly kicked out with my heavier tripod and 5D II.
Ahh the Trianon, brings back memories. I stayed in the Trianon Palace hotel about a decade ago, and it remains one of the best places I've ever stayed, unfortunately it was for work and I didn't do much sightseeing. I vow to return one day with camera.
Versailles Is truly a wonder, not just the Palace but gardens and surrounding buildings too.
I really don't do urban, partly because I live in a town of 35,000 which has no urban - or culture for that matter - but mostly 'cause I suck at it. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I was in downtown Denver on some errands and had the ZF.2 100MP stuck on the end of the camera when I saw this flare. Here's the result after a slight tweak in Silver EFex. Lemme know what you think.

Beud, there may be a cause or two to what you indicate. Most of my recent shots have been taken wih a NEX in LiveView mode rather than with a 5DII. This could make a difference, though I don't think so. A more important difference IMHO is that Bobu has taught me the importance of shooting before sunup and after sunset, on a tripod obviously. As such, those are dark scenes. Now a DSLR will compensate atomatically for this, and the picture may appear brighter than the actual scene, or one can push the shadows in post and lighten up the shot. I tend not to do this, and enjoy in some cases the advent of darkness, which is emphasized by the conversion to Web format. Such is the case with the last two shots I posted from Trianon.
Obviously you are free to feel otherwise and prefer lighter scenes, and I will keep your comment in mind.
Martin - Great detail with the 100 MP
Uzay - Love your last image best
Diploneis - Great Portraits!
teh_rebel - great landscape on that first image
Hugo - Outstanding!
Philippe - I love what you get from that NEX/biogon combo.
I finally arrived at my new home in Utrecht for the next six months. After some unpacking, it was time for a stroll with the 21mm mounted on the 1DIV. This is going to be a fun six months . . .
