beud- Very loverly shot of tea shop. I like the color.
Denoir - Love the texture of the first shot ( sculpture). Third shot, the four red barns ( or garages ?) however, actually is my most favorite. Powerful composition. And the 18mm shot showcases quite an amazing clarity of the lens.
Carsten - Great 'window' shot. Your cemetery series has been giving me inspiration to go into churchyard cemetery to shoot on a grey day.
Philber - I am totally enjoying to see all sorts of new shots coming out from you !! I like the shot of concrete columns from La Defense ( parking ? ) Looking forward to see your shots with 25 biogon.
Bob - Wonderful 'self portrait'. I am glad that you have been recording the decaying abandoned site in consistent manner. Soon it will be another strip mall I guess. #3 and #4 are my favorite.
rsolti13 - ZM ! On which body ? I somehow thought you were ZF shooter. Anyhow, love the second shot. It is almost a B/W shot.
RubenFreitas - Welcome to the thread. I enjoy the last two shots very much. Looking forward to see more with your new 50 MP !
Todd - That is a very stunning portrait. Strong presence. It feels like she is sitting right there in front.
joakim - Beautiful snow shots. I like the comosition of the second shot very much.
First is from a cemetery / church graveyard downtown with ZF.2 100. I noticed interesting reflection from Carsten's series ( slightly vertical adjusted and cropped )
These are more of 'gates' shots, but somehow in similar spirit both are ZF.2 35
I am a ZF shooter....but also have an M8. Those were on the M8
That solves the mystery. Great shots. I am playing with the idea of getting NEX so that I can play with great ZM lenses, especially now I see wonderful results posted by Philber with his NEX project, it is a tempting possibility. How do you like your Biogon? How do you like M8? I saw some comment on IR issue of some sort. I love Leica design, but it is out of my focus range.

Thank you very much, Akul. I have really enjoyed doing this series, but I can feel that it is slowly nearing the end of the project. I am starting to feel a bit saturated, and need to sit down and edit the photos down to a solid set of 30-50 shots, and put together a portfolio from it.
Hello, this is my first post here. I have to compliment this great forum.
Mast3rChi3f and RubenFreitas you have to pay the model.
Hugo I want this foto "headache" to do a large format printing.
Luka: Great light in 1,2 and 3. Great image of the sculpture - textures are superb. Second is really lovely with the smoke and beautiful sky. The garages is the best IMHO with very strong composition and simple, but strong red & white color combination. And cool perspective and clarity in yacht shot with 18mm...
Carsten: I like how you framed your shot!
Philber: is very interesting what you are doing! Keep em coming!
Bob: Very creative self-portrait! I always like to see something out of box! Lovely textures in following images!
Philber: love your urban shots! Great mood!
Rsolti: I really like the second shot.
RubenFreitas: Welcome! Some really great pics to start with! I like those "drunk" shots and great sky in the last one!
Todd: No doubt among the best portraits posted here! Great eye contact, wonderful control over lightning and last, but not the least - what a beautiful model!
Joakim: Beautiful and moody winter shots!
Hugo: I like them both - portrait really draws you in with wonderful blend of reflections, expression, which creates really strong mood and the black sheep fits well with the first one!
Akul : Great architecture shots! I especially like how you composed first one and use of DOF in it! Gates are also very cool!
Joakim: love a soft pink light on branches!
RZ: winter at it's most beautiful! If only we all the time have snow and sun together!
Sami: lovely crisp winter shots!
Haven't been shooting much myself lately, but here are two snaps from the last week (first with 100mm wide open, second with 21mm wide open):
Carsten - I think I know what you mean. I sometimes get the feeling of 'burned out' from a certain spot I often visit.
Joakim - I can feel the clean piercing cold air from your photo. Great shot
RZetter - Third shot is my favorite. Light shooting through snow covered branches. Also like the snow texture on the second shot. Great captures in quite challenging light for all of them.
Sami - The way how the OOF branch echoes branches in focus is very nice. That, to me is a beautiful bokeh.
Donus - Wonderful portrait. He has quite beautiful eyes.
Martynas - The first shot is pretty ! Love the oof christmas lights. Second shot is surreal with house and moon in focus while the trees being blurry from wind.
This is one seriously fantastic thread! So many nice pictures it made me order a ZE 35/2 as a pre-christmas present. I told my better half that I didn't have a lens that would cut it for indoor christmas photos, and after she bought herself an iPhone 4 she really couldn't argue much Will post a picture as soon as I have one that I feel is worthy!
Btw. This thread also make me crave that much more for a 5Dmk2
