Finally got my hands on a Zeiss Biogon ZM 35C f:2.8 to complement my Sony NEX 5. Late afternoon, lousy light, so all I could do was this. It is still much too early to form a definitive opinion, but this lens looks like it has massive 3D potential.
Hugo - wonderful shots: I love the coffee man and the pollution photo
Bob - happy to have you in Europe from January ... a few days ago I asked you about your secret for shooting wonderful sunstars, but I think you didn't see my question because you were less present in the forum... the sunstars I take with my ZE21 are not as good as yours: do you have some advice for me? thanks in advance
Philber - looking at your photos I am always more convinced to buy a NEX5 to complement my 5dmkII
Martynas - I love your 100MP macro shot
Here attached a few ZE21 shots from my last night outing in Milan
fracas - Sorry I missed your questions previously. For the sun stars as you call them, I try to use at least a 15 second exposure to create the effect. Give it a try and let me know if that has been the difference.
Diploneis - Wonderful river shot ( waterfall). Contrast of water and powder snow covered rocks is beautiful. Macro shot of icicle is superb.
Philber - The vertical shot of layers of building is an amazing shot. ( previous page)
ZM shots look very nice. Tomatoes look very nicely rendered. That color !! 'Massive 3d potential' - yes indeed it looks that way. And, 'yeay' for the statue.
Hugo - I really like the man in front of espresso machine. That is a picture that tells a lot of story. Also third portrait with 85 is very lovely.
Ajay - Are they CMOS censors ?
Bob - Nice shots from Netherland. #1 and #4 are my favorite.
Fracas - Beautiful architecture shot. Blue moon through overcast adds to the composition very nicely.
Sami - Great color from all three of them. I like them all.
RZetter - Nice shots with 35. I like the third one.
