Went away for a long weekend break ... and in the mean time an ever growing family of Zeiss aficionado's publishing ever more great work!
ZE 35/2 on Canon EOS 550D
#1:
#2 (now, if I only could remember where I read about being in a hurry and/or in a great place with the pressure to produce result and presto: cut off chimneys etc. ;-) ):
Ryan, I'm experimenting a bit with B/W - trying to learn when it works and when it doesn't. As I was stuck at home with a cold last week and could not go out and shoot it was a perfect opportunity to play around in PP.
Luka, love the mood in that shot. Gotta ask the question, out of all your lenses why choose the 35 for that shot? I don't know how different it would have looked with other lenses, but from what I have seen the 35 is weakest on the long end (not saying it is horrible). I know that wasn't the only one in your bag
Ryan, I used the 35 because its focal length was right for the composition. I could have possibly chosen a longer lens, but not a wider as I shot this from the back seat of a moving car
