Thanks guys. One reason I like the trees in the shot is so that others can see it actually stars - and not noise.

Anyone know what is the (star, quasar, universe) in the upper center-right of the pic

Yes, great piece of glass, the colors are different from the 100 and 21mm, but i love them for portrait.

Lovely shots, Donat! I love the N�2 even more than the others. EXIF looks strange on N�3. Why use ISO 640 when you have enough light to stop down to f:11 and shoot at 1/800 sec?
