Sang, I really like the second shot. I think I have a thing for forest shots
Charles, nice portrait!

Some more from the A900 and ZFs.

The A900 + ZF files need some more/different work to get the same clarity and pop as the 5D2 does. As you can see, I've not fully figured it out yet. I think it may have something to do with a lower midtone contrast. Plus maybe something with the shadows. I'm not really sure. Interestingly, when I googled for it, another guy kind of felt the same. Just have to spend some more time testing and tuning.
The post office didn't delivered my planar 85 today , tomorrow is bank holiday, so only on Wednesday that i will upload some images. And will be some portraits.
Great shots indeed.
I thought you ordered the 50MP Hugo?
Like that one very much Akul, i'm also using D700 and i want to enjoy my 21ZF more, so could you please tell me about your settings on D700 or processing?
I think I've found an acceptable modus operandi for the camera. I start by metering, well, with my DSLR or X1 and apply the exposure settings to the Pentax 67. Then I remove the prism (as seen above) and use a Zacuto Z-finder to nail focus. Not quite as good as live view but acceptable with the 3X magnification of the Z-finder. Then I put the prism back, make adjustments to the final composition, lock the mirror and take the shot.
Although I'm at home with a nasty cold I could not resist the temptation to just go out for five minutes and take a few shots. My plans were however quickly thwarted by a newbie mistake - I ran out of film and had not brought any extra with me. You get 10 shots from a 120 film roll and I had shot 7 already. So I only managed to take three shots before I had to return.
A fellow D700 shooter ! I have been learning from this particular thread quite a bit by looking at all wonderful shots from everyone and their comments.
I think I got lucky with the light. I shot this with shutter release delay turned on, and using timer ( I still don't have a remote release ), manual exposure , and WB was set for incandescent to enhance the night blue in the sky. It ws shot in RAW, processed in NX2 to Tiff. I did not change anything in NX2 for this shot if I remeber correctly. Then sharpen / resize in Photoshop, which I also learned from this particular thread about 3 month ago (?). Search with 'sharpening' in this forum should get your started. I don't quite remember the page. My sharpening PP technique is not great, I am still learning. It really seems to be dependent on the scene, and I need to tweak a bit.
Makten shoots with D700 with beautiful results, if you have not, check out his shots.
rji2goleez - Beautiful yellow rose. Soft light is very effective.
Hugo - love the moss series
sangdabom73 - I like the #1 and #2
Paul - I like the first shot a lot. The man standing is making the shot for me.
Denoir,
I think only DSLR could take that shot of the pentax so gracefully
Hope you feel better quickly.
I too have a old Pentacon Six MF with Zeiss glass which I haven't shot/developed any films yet.
I hope to get it some pictures with it soon, although it gets quite heavy carrying two systems.
Learning photography takes time and efforts which I get lazy about. Hopefully, I get more time once I get to sell my business =)
Truly the most astounding compilation of impressive images in the whole net, seeing two or three pages a day gives to myself inspiration and more love for photography, Philber, Samuli, Makten, Denoir and everyone thank you and keep on posting please!! we want more!!
