After reading this wonderful thread and from the replies on my thred re. on a ZE 35/2 on a 550D I tested one, was convinced (well freaked out is a better word) and bought one. Focusing is surprisingly easy, I believe the focus confirm light works very well. Also, I bough a Hoodman H-LCKIT viewfinder/loupe, and while this is a very clumsy construction, it is less than 1/3 the price of a Z-finder and works great with LiveView.
Here are a few examples, all shot with Canon 550D @ ISO 200, some minor adjustments and sharpening in LR3.
Great shots Karel. I debated and debated and went with 35L instead, although I just received my 21!! Can't wait to take that stud out and take some shots!!

Satcimi: what a great color!!! Magazine stuff!
Thank you as well.
The car really is that blue. It seems over saturated but I helped my brother apply wax to the car and we put over 6 various coats of wax and gloss enhancer to the car. A circular polarizer would have ruined the beautiful shine
Thank you all for your compliments! I really feel that I have the look I want with the 35/2, the slightly "larger than life" rendering leading -at least for me- to a very high feeling of immersion (especially with full size files, will see what they look like in prints).
More to come if weather and time permits.
(and wondering where this Zeiss discovery will lead me..like a sale of Canon lenses... and all the places I have to re-visit with the Zeiss while there are more new places still to visit than would fit in a lifetime)
