I agree. The lenses are nice but just tools. The artist sees and interprets. Depth of field as art. Really brilliant, gorgeous imagery.

Kasper, that is a lovely B&W picture. How do you do that? Just convert to B&W in Lightroom and then do what? I never seem to get these nice B&W results as most of you here.

Nice set of images here! Making me want an 85 planar

For this particular shot, since I wanted to use the new Zf Deep Tone Monochrome picture control on a Z7 file I had to import the nef into NX studio and change the picture control there. I exported as 16 bit tiff and imported to LR and edited there as I hate NX studio for anything other than retaining Nikons wonderful color/bnw profiles. I don't do this often though, those tiff's are HUGE.
