After shooting with a Leica almost exclusively for the past eighteen months (frequently with ZM lenses, though) I've started using my ZE lenses again on the Sony A7R IV.

thrice, nice shot!
Any idea in comparison between 35mm F/2.8 and 35mm F/1.4. I am in dilemma to choose one of them for my A7s.
Neither will perform very well on A7S unless it's modified. They will both exhibit noticeable field curvature.
I've only used the 35/2.8 ZM on an M9 but it was stellar on that camera. The 35/1.4ZM is meant to be sharper at equivalent apertures and of course opens up to f/1.4. It is the most remarkable 35mm I've used and I have owned the latest ASPH FLE 35mm Summilux and used the Zony 35/1.4.

Thank you.
Finally I buy CZ 35mm F/2.8
I've found that used wide open this lens is a little 'busy' for my taste but stopped down to f2 it's just lovely. Happily my copy was optimised out-of-the-box at f2. I posted another example this morning shot at f2 Here
