Another with CZ35 on the SL...To me, this pic looks very 3D, like I plopped the family into the scene in PS. This is the "look" I was referring too. The transitions between in and out of focus are both abrupt but smooth. I used to love the Canon 50L for the same reason but this CZ is on a diffeent level. Does anyone own both the 35 Distagon and the Summilux? Besides the color, I wonder how differently they render. I have a 50 m-lux on the way and own the 50SL-Lux (currently) as well. I'm eager to see the difference. That said, after using this 35, it makes me want to at least try the CZ 50/1.5
Dave, That orange bell is popping out of my screen!

Even easier is looking at the lens itself where Distagon is written on the front bezel!
Ah, yes... I would've thought that way if I had the lens

I also have the Classic, and use it with my 10+ years 5DII. It seems that the lens is much sharper with the SL, and that's why I asked whether you refer to the Classic at the first place. Maybe it's time for me to upgrade my camera.
What I love from the Classic is its rendering and bokeh. I know that Milvus is generally better optically, but I wonder if Milvus has better bokeh.
