So do I. And Makten's and John's too.
+1 Nice shots.
Here are a couple taken last night. As I've now bought a Rollei 35/1.4 from Anden (waiting for it to arrive) I thought I'd practice with the 35/2 a bit. I was lazy though so I just took a couple of shots outside my apartment..
By the way, how do you guys like my new framing of the pictures? I spent most of the morning today learning Photoshop scripting using javascript. The generation of the frames and all the information is generated automatically (I'm reading the RAW XMP metadata to extract the information). Are the vertical pictures too large?
Luka...the first three are excellent, can I hang those on my wall for you I am a sucker for some Zeiss stars! In the second shot, is that CA on the lights....just curious? If so, probably would be gone by 2.8.
Size....perfect size in my opinion. And the framing looks great.
The 21/2.8 is much better at producing stars. The 35/2 can do decent ones at f/5.6-f/8 but not so great below or above that. Yep, there is some purple fringing on the lights between the buildings and generally on the left size. Not surprising as it was wide open and the focus was on the name on the boat ("Monika"). I was unfortunately forced shoot wide open as it was quite windy and the boat was moving all over the place.
