A couple of views of a strange mountain area, under fairly fast-traveling clouds. The dark color of the water in these pools is most likely of mineral origin. It must not be totally toxic as some plants grew toward the edges. No insects or amphibians that I could see in these pools however. No golfers, either

Maybe... and maybe the golfers are gone too because of their balls disappearing (the terrain is peppered with marmot holes)
