A couple of views of a strange mountain area, under fairly fast-traveling clouds. The dark color of the water in these pools is most likely of mineral origin. It must not be totally toxic as some plants grew toward the edges. No insects or amphibians that I could see in these pools however. No golfers, either

I can imagine some Scots seeing the perfect terrain for a golf course here.
Lovely takes, Santiago. Man, what would I give for some skies like that!!

First one is nice, Santiago. I like that game with shadow and light.
Maybe the insects or amphibians are gone because of the golfers?

Hallo Karl, and thanks.
Maybe... and maybe the golfers are gone too because of their balls disappearing (the terrain is peppered with marmot holes)
